Wildlife Photography
Over more than a decade exploring Maine's backcountry, I've focused on capturing authentic wildlife portraits through patient, in-the-field observation and a deep respect for these animals and their habitats. These aren't remote setups—these are direct encounters: a majestic bull moose stepping out of morning mist in northern Maine, a black bear foraging quietly along a forest edge, an elusive lynx in its winter coat blending into the snow, graceful deer moving through autumn light, and more.
Each image tells a story of quiet persistence—waiting for the right light, staying downwind, and letting the wildlife reveal itself on its own terms. From the dense woods of western Maine to the open clearings where moose gather during the rut, these portraits aim to share the intimate wonder of Maine's diverse creatures as I've experienced them firsthand.
